Creator Program Terms

These Creator Program Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in the ScentBlooms Creator Program ("Program"), operated by ScentBlooms ("ScentBlooms", "we", "us" or "our"). By applying to or participating in the Program, you ("Creator", "you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not apply or participate.

1. Eligibility and Approval

  • The Program is currently open to eligible creators based in the United States only.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • All applications are reviewed manually. ScentBlooms may approve or decline any application at its sole discretion, and is not required to give a reason.
  • You must provide accurate, complete information in your application and keep it up to date.

2. Commission

  • Approved Creators earn 15% commission on qualifying net sales made through their unique referral link or creator discount code.
  • "Qualifying net sales" means the product subtotal of an order after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, tips, shipping protection, gift wrap, gift cards and wholesale products.
  • Referral link purchases are attributed for up to 30 days after a customer clicks your link, as recorded by our affiliate tracking platform. Purchases using your creator code are attributed to you at checkout.
  • If an order cannot be attributed through our tracking platform (for example, because of blocked cookies or a different code being used), no commission is owed for that order.
  • ScentBlooms may exclude specific products, collections, bundles or promotions from commission. Any exclusions will apply going forward.

3. Commission Approval and 30-Day Hold

  • All commissions are held for 30 days after the order date before they become approved and payable.
  • No commission is earned on orders that are refunded, returned, canceled, fraudulent, charged back, disputed, duplicated or otherwise determined to be ineligible.
  • Purchases made by you, for you, or using your own link or code (self-referrals) do not earn commission.
  • If a commission is paid and the related order is later reversed, ScentBlooms may deduct that amount from your future earnings.

4. Payouts

  • Approved commissions are paid monthly via PayPal once your approved commission balance reaches $25.
  • Balances below $25 roll over to the following payout period.
  • You are responsible for providing an accurate PayPal account and any tax information we request (such as a Form W-9). Payouts may be delayed until this information is provided.
  • You are responsible for any taxes owed on your earnings.

5. Creator Discount Codes

  • Approved Creators receive a unique discount code that gives customers 10% off qualifying purchases.
  • Creator codes cannot be combined with other discount codes, other creator codes or promotional offers unless expressly authorized by ScentBlooms.
  • Certain products, collections, promotions, bundles, wholesale purchases, gift cards or other items may be excluded.
  • You may not post, submit or allow your code to be listed on coupon, deal, cashback or discount-code websites or browser extensions.

6. Disclosure Requirements

  • You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your relationship with ScentBlooms whenever you promote our products, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides.
  • Use clear disclosures such as #ad, #affiliate or #sponsored, or plain wording such as "I earn a commission from ScentBlooms." Disclosures must be easy to see, placed near the start of your post or caption, and included in the video itself for video content.
  • Disclosure is also required when you have received complimentary products from ScentBlooms.

7. Content Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct

When promoting ScentBlooms, you agree to share honest opinions based on your own experience. You must not:

  • Make false, misleading or exaggerated claims about ScentBlooms products, pricing or offers.
  • Describe ScentBlooms products as original designer fragrances, or use other brands' names, logos or trademarks in a way that suggests ScentBlooms products are made by, affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.
  • Make medical, health or therapeutic claims about our products.
  • Impersonate ScentBlooms or create accounts, pages, websites or ads that could be mistaken for official ScentBlooms channels.
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages or bulk emails, or promote through any unlawful method.
  • Manipulate attribution or tracking, including cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden links or redirect tricks.
  • Use content, music or images you do not have the rights to use, or violate anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Post content that is offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate, or that could harm ScentBlooms' reputation.

8. Paid Advertising

  • You may promote ScentBlooms through organic (unpaid) content on your own channels.
  • Paid advertising of any kind (including Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest and YouTube ads) that promotes ScentBlooms, your link or your code requires prior written approval from ScentBlooms.
  • You may not bid on ScentBlooms brand terms, brand-name variations, misspellings, domain names or creator coupon terms in any search or advertising platform.

9. Content Usage Rights

  • You keep ownership of the content you create.
  • By posting content about ScentBlooms as part of the Program, you grant ScentBlooms a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost, share and display that content on ScentBlooms' owned organic channels, including our social media accounts, website and emails, with credit to you where practical.
  • ScentBlooms will not use your name, face, image, voice or content in paid advertising without your separate permission.

10. Product Gifting

  • Selected creators may occasionally receive complimentary products, samples, travel fragrances, full-size fragrances, early-access products or other promotional items at ScentBlooms' discretion.
  • Product type, value, timing and frequency are not guaranteed, and receiving a gift does not create an entitlement to future products.
  • Gifted products are for your personal use and content creation and may not be resold.

11. Use of ScentBlooms Brand Assets

ScentBlooms may provide product images, logos and other brand assets for use in your Program content. You may use them only to promote ScentBlooms under these Terms, without altering them in a misleading way. This permission ends when your participation ends.

12. Suspension and Termination

  • Either party may end participation in the Program at any time.
  • ScentBlooms may suspend or terminate your participation, deactivate your links or codes, and withhold commissions earned through invalid, fraudulent or prohibited activity if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, approved commissions from valid, qualifying sales will be paid in the normal payout cycle, subject to the $25 minimum and the 30-day hold.

13. Changes to the Program

ScentBlooms may update these Terms, commission rates or Program features, or discontinue the Program, at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Independent Relationship

You participate in the Program as an independent creator. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency or joint venture relationship between you and ScentBlooms. You may not make commitments or statements on ScentBlooms' behalf.
